The Future Hall of Famer added another accomplishment to a long list of career moments.

This time he passed Wilt Chamberlain for 6th All-Time in scoring. Unfortunately for Dirk and the Mavs, it did not end in a win as the Pelicans were able to get the best of them in Overtime with a score of 129-125.

Nowitzki talked about only needing a little over 200 points to catch him but he admitted there was a time that he thought he would make it to this point. Nowitzki began the year injured due to a leg injury that he suffered this past season.

His recovery process was slow but he did say over the past couple of weeks he has felt better and his teammates kept looking for him and encouraging the future Hall of Famer to shoot the ball.
